My internship at Eurocopter, the world’s leading helicopter manufacturer, was a great experience on both academic and personal level. Eurocopter, daughter of the EADS group (European Aerospace Defence and Space Company) with French headquarters based at Marignane, is a company working on Aerospace and Defence programmes which causes it's classification as company of national defence interest. This implements the restricted use of information. Therefore concerning the subject of the assignment, no further elaboration is done.
Living in the south of France meant living the local relax-mentality. Great food provided by Eurocopter’s canteen together friendly people made the stay unforgettable. The south of Marseille, with its well known Calanques is also a dreamed location for every outdoor sports fanatic.

The well known Calanques which are sea-tongs into land

A view on the scientific student campus situated in the Calanques. On the right the disastrous sceneries after the first snowfall in the south in more than twenty years.

More than 300km of small dirt tracks allowed plenty of variation in bike routes. The MINI was a loyal companion in the sighting of the local region.

For work purposes, I went a few times to EADS Ottobrünn (München), which hosted also Tom Desmet. Together we visited a few automobile museum and multiple typical Bavarian cultural centres.
